Christ's Table
We travel to Zanesville at least 4 times per year. In January (or February) we deliver coats and other warm weather gear plus serve the main meal of the day. In June we deliver toiletries and other needs plus serve the main meal of the day. In August, we go on an overnight mission trip to help with more detailed needs. And, on the day after Thanksgiving, we help with the main meal of the day to give some of the staff a day off.
The Daily Needs Assistance (DNA Center) is a nonprofit organization intent on touching real physical and spiritual needs in the Plain City area. New Cally is excited to join their family of local churches in helping with their Saturday morning Pancake Breakfast. Please let an Outreach Team Covenant Partner know and/or watch for more information if you are interested in working with this important ministry. We cook & serve breakfast once per quarter.
Sunday School
We have Sunday School most every Sunday of the school year at 9:15 am. Sunday School is for Children and Youth. Adults can come at 9:15 to have some coffee and fellowship.
Our Missionaries
We take seriously God’s command to go beyond our walls. We sponsor the following missionaries:
- The Chang Family , who serves in Alaska
- The Palmer Family, who serves the world from their home base in North Carolina.
Alaska Mission Trip
In June, 2024, we’ll be sending a group to help the Chang family in Kake, Alaska. There will be plenty of ways you can help, from going on the trip to helping to order supplies, to helping in fundraising.
Community Mission
You’ll find us at various events, such as the Plain City Fourth of July Parade, Plain City Fall Fest, handing out Christmas baskets, and Christmas Under the Clock.
Compassion International
Currently we sponsor 2 children through Compassion International with monthly monetary assistance and letter writing.
Children/Youth Events
From VBS to the Gingerbread Bash; from Trunk or Treat to helping in Junior Church we want to grow offering opportunities for children and youth to grow in Christ and develop leadership possibilities.
